Legal withdrawal period
In accordance with current legal provisions, you have a period of 14 days from receipt of your products to exercise your right of withdrawal without having to justify your reasons or pay a penalty. After notifying us of your decision to exercise your right of withdrawal within this 14-day period, you have a further 14 days to return the product(s) concerned by the withdrawal.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to customers outside the European Union.
Contractual withdrawal period
At kids-world.ie, we offer you the possibility to exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the products. You then have a further 14 days from the date of notification of your decision to withdraw to return the product(s) concerned to us.
In the case of an order containing several products placed on kids-world.ie, the 14-day period for communicating your decision to withdraw runs from the date of receipt of the last product.
The terms and conditions for exercising your right of withdrawal are specified below.
Conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal
If you exercise your right of withdrawal within the period referred to in 24.2, only the price of the product(s) purchased and the shipping costs will be refunded; you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.
Returns must be made in their original condition and complete (packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.) so that they can be resold in new condition and, if possible, accompanied by a copy of the purchase invoice for optimal management. In the event of depreciation of the product resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the product, you may be held liable.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, in accordance with legal provisions, you will find below, in the appendix, the standard withdrawal form to be sent to us at the following address: contact@kids-world.com. You may exercise your right of withdrawal by any means, including by post or email to contact@kids-world.com, expressing your wish to withdraw without any ambiguity and mentioning the order concerned by this withdrawal.
Once the withdrawal form or statement has been sent to Kids-world no later than 14 days after receipt of your order, you must return the product(s) concerned to the address of kids-world.ie within a reasonable period of time and no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal form or statement.
In accordance with Council Regulation No. 1182/71/EEC of 3 June 1971 determining the rules applicable to time limits, dates and terms:
1° The day on which the contract is concluded or the day on which the goods are received is not counted in the period mentioned in Article L. 221-18;
2° The period shall begin at the start of the first hour of the first day and end at the end of the last hour of the last day of the period;
3° If this period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday or non-working day, it shall be extended to the next working day.
Where information relating to the right of withdrawal has not been provided to the consumer under the conditions set out in 2° of Article L. 221-5, the withdrawal period shall be extended by twelve months from the expiry of the initial withdrawal period, determined in accordance with Article L. 221-18.
However, where this information is provided during this extension, the withdrawal period shall expire at the end of a period of fourteen days from the day on which the consumer received this information.
The burden of proof for exercising the right of withdrawal under the conditions provided for in Article L. 221-21 lies with the consumer.

Refund
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, kids-world.ie will refund the sums paid (including delivery costs) within 14 days of the date on which kids-world.ie is informed of your decision to withdraw, using the same means of payment as that used for the order (unless you expressly agree to a refund by another means of payment). This refund date may be deferred until the product has been recovered or until you have provided proof of shipment of the product, whichever occurs first. Kids-world.ie is not required to reimburse you for any additional costs if you have expressly chosen a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery method offered on kids-world.ie.
However, in the event of full or partial payment by gift vouchers, it is specified that these cannot be refunded in cash, by cheque or by credit card. Refunds for purchases made by gift vouchers will be made exclusively in the form of gift vouchers for an amount identical to that paid in this form.
No cash on delivery shipments will be accepted for any reason.
In the event of a size exchange, we will refund the full cost of return shipping up to a limit of 5€.
